Frequently Asked Questions - General InfoTow Vehicle Requirements - AAS 281FB:
1. Your tow vehicle will need to be either a 3/4T or 1T rated vehicle (a 1/2 Ton
rated vehicle is not sufficient). The weight placed on the rear bumper/hitch of
the tow vehicle is over 1300 lbs.
2. You will also require an electric brake controller to be installed in tow vehicle as
this is required in order to operate the electric brakes on the trailer. We use and
recommend the Tekshona Prodigy brake controllers as the best overall units for
this purpose.
3. You will also require a Class-III rated hitch installed on your tow vehicle with a
2" receiver.
4. You will also require a 7-pin electric trailer connector installed which provides a
12Volt charging circuit for toy hauler batteries.
RV Insurance:
1. Insurance on the RV is mandatory and is provided by the renter prior to pickup.
Renter has the choice of providing an insurance binder/endorsement from their
own current auto insurance carrier (may cost nothing at all), or the renter can
obtain the insurance through our carrier: MBA Insurance for a cost of $5/day
of use.
Optional Pre-Trip Supplies and Post-Trip Services Available::
1. We offer convenience supply kits for those renters who are unable to or prefer
not to bring certain supplies themselves. Renters are required to return the RV
vehicle to us in the same condition as when they leave with the unit - including
interior and exterior cleaniness, fuel/propane refilled, and tanks dumped. For
those renters who are short of time, or unable to, or who prefer not to, have to
take the time to perform these tasks, we do also offer post-Trip services.
Additional charges/fees for these post-trip services are detailed on the Rental
Rates webpage on this website.

valid driver's license.

1. Check-out (pick-up unit) time is between 1-5 pm M-F. Check-in (return unit)
time is between 8-11 am M-F. Renter should allow a minimum of 1 hr for
hookup, RV orientation, and completing the Rental Agreement before departing.
No pickups or returns on SAT/SUN, and Mon/FRI that fall on a holiday without
prior arrangements.
